The Carbondale Convention & Tourism Bureau's Sports Commission is designed to streamline the process sports event planners go through in selecting a host community and venue for their event. If you contact the Carbondale Convention & Tourism Bureau, first, staff will provide the necessary liaison to event facility managers and will help you access appropriate lodging. The Bureau has a list of services, which can be provided. Bureau staff may be able to assist you in finding sponsors or underwriting for portions of your event costs.
